Six farmers arrested for murder in Mt Prov

PARACELIS, Mountain Province --Six farmers were arrested here last week for murder while another was nabbed for frustrated murder in Itogon, Benguet

Joint elements of Paracelis Police Station and Mt. Province Provincial Public Safety Company arrested Feb. 1Dagul P. Rivera, 24; Marvin M. Dawagan, 30; Basilio P. Bawal, 30 and Orlando A. Duldulao, 40, all residents of Barangay Anonat here.

Also arrested on same day was Leonada N. Pattan, 65, of Capalallian, Palitud and Boy Macadangdang of Damsite, also in Paracelis.

All arrested persons were arrested for murder following a warrant issued by Judge Joseph C. Patnaan of Regional Trial Court, First Judicial Region, Branch 36, Bontoc, Mt. Province.

The suspects were jailed at the Paracelis police station.

Meanwhile elements of Itogon, Benguet police also on Feb. 1arrested Eric Niño Dayao, 27, miner, of Roxas, Isabela and presently residing at First Gate, Virac in the town for frustrated murder.

A bail bond at P200,000 for his temporary liberty was ordered by Danilo P. Camacjo, presiding judge of RTC 1st Judicial Region, Branch 62, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The suspect was properly detained at the Benguet Provincial Jail, La Trinidad.
