Cops burn P2 M marijuana in Benguet town

KAPANGAN, Benguet – Police burned marijuana plants worth P2,280,000 here March 5 during an eradication drive.

A police report said cops found the marijuana on plantations located at SitioAmlanding, Barangay Belis and SitiosSayangan and Laoangan of Barangay Gadang in this town.

The burning of around14,000 fully grown marijuana plants and 2,000 seedlings was witnessed Pablo BalanhiJr, Interior and Local Government field officer of Kapangan.
