Cordillera PNP gives P600k to storm victims

La Trinidad, Benguet
– Personnel of the Police Regional Office Cordillera donated P628, 800 to
victims affected by Typhoon Pablo in Visayas and Mindanao. Cordillera police director Police Chief Supt.
Benjamin B. Magalong, gave cash worth P423, 800.00 to Leonardo C Reynoso,
Cordillera director of Department of Social Welfare and Development on occasion
of the 19th PNP Ethics Day celebration of regional police.
The donation was part of one day salary
deduction of all police commissioned officers and voluntary contribution for
non-commissioned police officers and non-uniformed personnel of the regional
police office.
The amount will be used to construct shelter
houses for typhoon victims.
Last December, cash of P205, 000 was already
forwarded to National Head Quarters, Camp Crame, Quezon City as the mandatory
contribution of all police personnel of Cordillera police as mandated by the
directive of the Chief, PNP that each personnel should donate P50.00.
