Ifugao rape suspect arrested in Vizcaya

CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet– A 22-year old laborer facing rape and child abuse charges, was arrested by police who served him a warrant in his hideout in Bit-ang, Runruno, Quezon, NuevaVizcaya around 11a.m. Tuesday.

Cordillera police director Chief Supt. Benjamin B. Magalong, identified the arrested rape suspect as Roderick T. Tuguinay, of Lower Pitawan, O-ong, Hingyon, Ifugao and presently residing at Sitio Bit-ang.

Judge Ester PiscosoFlor, of Regional Trial Court, Branch 14, Lagawe, Ifugao issued the warrant for Tuguinay’s arrest with no bail recommended.

The operating troops included personnel of the Ifugao provincial police office headed by Senior Insp. AngelitoPallaya, Jr., Intelligence Branch, Ifugao Provincial Public Safety Company headed by Chief Insp. Allan Guyguyon, Nueva Vizcaya PPSC headed by ShciefInsp.ExtorMaciste Serrano and Senior Regelio Garcia, Quezon chief of police.
