On behalf of the people of Abra, I extend my commendation to the PNP Abra under the leadership of Regional Director Benjamin B Magalong, Provincial Director Benjamin Lusad and General Roberto Soriano for the successful conduct of orderly and peaceful elections in the province.

The Abrenio community is truly one and united in their esteemed acknowledgement of the profound and effective role of the PNP towards the achievement of this historical feat in the province.

Gen. Magalong has earned the respect of the people of Abra for his imperviousness to politicking, consistently shown impartiality in judgment, and faithful to justice and servitude.

We likewise commend the men and women of the of the PNP Abra who have displayed extraordinary courage to uphold freedom and justice, who put their lives on the line in not a few instances to stand up against terrorism and violence to safeguard the fundamental democratic right of suffrage of the Abrenio people. They have served with utmost competence, humaneness and fairness.

Indeed, the restoration of the integrity of elections in Abra through the unyielding commitment and exceptional leadership of Gen. Magalong, supported by an able PNP Abra team, is truly a momentous achievement for the province, expected to finally usher the long-sought political and institutional maturity in the province. The Abrenio people are deeply thankful.
