Warmer temp comes earlier than expected

The northern monsoon or Amihan has begun to
weaken, resulting in warmer mornings, the state weather bureau said.
In a state news
report, PAGASA weather forecaster Connnie Dadivas said that cooler temperatures
may still be experienced in northern Luzon.
The warmer season came
earlier than the expected transition period this year -- at the end of February
and early March.
Meanwhile, fair
weather can be expected in most parts of the country for the next three days
due to easterly winds affecting Luzon and Visayas, Dadivas said.
She added that the
easterly winds may also lead to localized thunderstorms.
Partly cloudy to
cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms can also prevail
across the archipelago until Wednesday
Metro Manila and the rest
of the country, except extreme northern Luzon, will experience sunny to partly
clouds that may be interrupted by passing light rains in the morning.
Northern Luzon, on the
other hand, will still feel the benefits of the cool Amihan-caused temperature,
with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with passing light rains.
