2 arrested for politician’s slay

BANGUED, Abra -- Two alleged members of the gun-for-hire group responsible for the killing of barangay chairman Alejandro Baay of Barangay Cosili East here last April were arrested in their respective houses here last week.

Supt. Cherrie Fajardo, regional police information officer, identified the arrested suspects as Benjamin Dacuyan Rapisora,33, of Barangay Angad and Randy Calibuso,28,pf Barangay Cabuloan, both in Bangued. Fajardo said the duo are facing murder case at the sala of Judge Raphiel Alzate, of Branch 1, Regional Trial Court, Bangued,Abra. They were arrested by virtue of the arrest warrant dated Dec. 2 with no bail recommended.
