Two drown in Agno River; bodies found

THE BODIES of two persons,
including a special child, have been recovered from the Agno River in the towns
of Alcala and Bugallon in Pangasinan province.
The first victim.
Jonell Sebastian, 12 , a special child, a resident of Barangay San Vicente
in Alcala, was found at 7 p.m. Wednesday, not too far from his
residence in San Vicente.
He was reported
missing prior to his body’s recovery.
The second victim, an
adult male, remained unidentified up to press time. He was wearing
a black polo t-shirt and black pants, with his body already in
an advanced state of decomposition.
Police said the male
cadaver was recovered along Agno River at Barangay Banaga in
Bugallon. Police added that the man drowned somewhere in San Carlos
when the river level rose due to heavy rains. -- Liezle Basa Inigo
