P29.2-M marijuana destroyed in Kalinga

TINGLAYAN, Kalinga – More than P29.2 million worth of marijuana plants were uprooted here Aug. 7-8 at at Barangay Bugnay by authorities. 

Joint operatives from Tinglayan police, Kalinga Drug Enforcement Unit, Kalinga Mobile Force Company and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15, in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency- Cordillera Administrative Region participated in the eradication operation  and burned on site some 146, 200 fully grown marijuana plants discovered in 17 plantation sites.
