Cordi PNP probe chief now colonel

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- The Chief of the Regional Investigation
and Detective Management Division took his oath as a full-fledged police
colonel at regional police headquarters here on Feb. 7, 2022.
A regional police information office report said Col. Francisco B. Bulwayan Jr., chief of Regional Personnel Records and Management Division read the promotion order of Col. Randolph B. Beniat.

In his
message, Beniat expressed his gratitude to the command group, and all people
behind his success most especially his wife, who he said, had been patient and
understanding of the nature of his work as a public servant.
Beniat said
as third-level personnel he will diligently work to the best of his ability to
be of service to Cordillera folks.
Lee
congratulated the promoted officer and his family.
He urged all
personnel to continue exerting effort to be promoted.
“Alam ko na ang karangalan ng inyong kapamilyang pulis ay inyo ring karangalan.
We are all proud of what they have achieved and attained today. May this
momentous event be an inspiration to other police officers to do their best to
be promoted.” Lee said.
Cula assumes as Abra police chief
BANGUED, Abra – This
province has a new police director, a report from the regional police
information office said.
Following his designation on Jan. 8, Col. Maly C. Cula formally assumed his post as the new provincial director of Abra at the provincial police office in ceremony here at Camp Juan Villamor.
Cula replaced Col. Christopher T. Acop who served as provincial director for one year and six months.
Acop will assume the former post of Cula at the regional police headquarters in Camp Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet as chief of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division.

passing of command was presided by Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Ronald
O. Lee and personally graced by Rep. Joseph Sto. NiƱo “JB” Bernos of the Lone
District of Abra.
Bernos, in
his message, he thanked the outgoing provincial director for his service
rendered in the province.
He also
assured support of the province to leadership of the new provincial director.
Lee commended
the outgoing and the new provincial director for their outstanding leadership
in their previous assignments.
He expressed
his confidence in Cula’s ability to continue what Acop did for Abra.
“During
Acop’s, Abra maintained its peaceful status and that alone is a huge
accomplishment, thanks to your proactive leadership and the collective efforts
of all personnel of Abra police. I know the men and women of Abra provincial
police office are sad to see you leave. However, the PNP has selected an
equally outstanding new leader to take on this important task,” Lee said.
