30 Paracelis poll bets join ‘unity walk’ for peace

PARACELIS, Mountain Province -- Thirty aspiring leaders of this
remote town joined the “unity walk” initiated by Paracelis Municipal Police
Station in partnership with the Commission on Elections on Feb. 21.
The wals was joined by religious leaders in the municipality and community stakeholders.
The almost 1-km walk started in Sitio Banilag, Poblacion and ended in Sitio Daggawe, Poblacion where a simple program was held inside the LGU building.
Officials said the walk was meant to highlight importance of peace and brotherhood as the May polls near.
As highlight of the program, an interfaith prayer was presided by the religious leaders while oath of commitment for safe elections and signing of integrity pledge was participated by aspiring leaders.
