SM Baguio, SLU forge academic partnership

BAGUIO CITY -- SM City Baguio forged its third
academic partnership this time, with Saint Louis University.
In line with SLU’s commitment to build partnerships and linkages with academic institutions, industry and government entities at local and international levels, the MOA highlighted commitment for students’ growth and learning through on the job trainings and job placements.
SM Supermalls engineer Marc Janssen Pe, assistant vice president for mall operations delivered his message as a proud SLU alumnus, citing discipline he learned from his alma mater as driving force that keeps him going and aspiring for more in SM and that he looks forward to collaborating more projects with SLU.
“I hope this partnership will last and continue to flourish in the years to come; let us continue working together for the development of not only Baguio but our country as well” said Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, SLU president.
Also present during the event were SLU officials Ms. Felerina Ellamil, SLU-VP for Administration, Dr. Mary Grace P. Carrido, director, Office of External Relations, Media Communications and Alumni Affairs, along with SM City Baguio assistant mall manager Michael Jason N. Pena, lswyer Derek Reyes, AVP-Mall HR business partners and Irene J. Peralta, regional HR manager.
