SLU topnotchers in licensure exams cited

BAGUIO CITY -- City officials commended the
topnotchers of the 2022 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) from the St. Louis
University (SLU).
In a resolution, the city council said the achievement and fate of the topnotchers in the said examination showed and upheld the city’s identity as education center of the north where it molded students into licensed professionals with flying colors.
The 11 topnotchers from SLU and their corresponding rankings were Melchor Flores Pimentel, Jr. – 89.80 second place; Reina Joyce Martinez Bulao – 89.40 4th place; Jaime Renee Balolong Martinez – 89.00 6th place; Karen Zamora Daoay and Precious Ander Mamaril – 88.80 7th place; Kyle Nicole Redila Sese – 88.60 8th place and Maranatha Raquel Montevirgen Buenaventura, David Audrey Hidalgo Dulay, Patrick John Lazaro Formoso, Yessamin Tabas Guadiz and Eena Cassandra Sanchez Mercado – 88.40 9th place.
Earlier, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 18,529 out of 24,903 examinees passed the 2022 NLE which was given by the Board of Nursing.
The 4th NLE was conducted Nov. 12-13, 2022 in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The 11 examinees from SLU were one of the largest number of topnotches that came from a single higher education institution who landed in the honor list of the said examination. -- Dexter A. See
