Apayao province, 14 Mt Province, Benguet towns cited ‘most peaceful towns’

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- The province of Apayao and 14 municipalities were adjudged most peaceful places in Cordillera Region.
    This was bared during command conference presided by Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Mafelino A. Bazar.
Apayao was adjudged “most peaceful province in Cordillera” with only 32 focused crime incidents recorded for year 2022.
    Certificate of recognition was received by Apayao provincial police director Col. Jefferson Cariga.
    During the conference, the municipalities of Tubo, Bucloc, and Daguioman in Abra were recognized for recording one crime incident each the past five years.
    Special recognition were also given to Boliney, Bucloc, Daguioman, Luba, San Quintin, Tubo and Tineg in Abra; Barlig, Besao and Natonin in Mountain Province; and Kabayan in Benguet for registering zero crime incidents for year 2022.

    Bazar led distribution of certificates of recognition and cash incentives during the simple rites here on Jan.18.
