2 women perish in Natividad house fire

NATIVIDAD, Pangasinan – Two female charred bodies were found by policemen and Bureau of Fire Protection personnel in the debris of a house razed by fire night of July 28 here in Barangay Rizal.

Reports reaching the office of provincial police director Senior Supt. Isagani Nerez stated that the two female victims were sleeping in the house from where neighbors heard an explosion.

The victims were identified as Mary Jane Valencia, 22, alias “Sabel,” married, said to be the owner of the house and Pascualla Resuello, 53, separated, both residents of Rizal.

Police Chief OIC Insp. Wilfredo Cabanayan stated in a report the bodies of the victims were charred.

BFP probers have yet to issue an official report on the fire but said an appliance in the house was suspected to have exploded, kindling the fire. – Jennelyn Mondejar
