Whatever compelled the President to finally lift executive order 464 is now being asked by those who doubt the sincerity in lifting this order. For one, its timing is questionable. It was lifted right after the Supreme Court made a compromise deal offer allowing Romulo Neri to appear and testify anew at the Senate ZTE probe but on the condition that three questions are prohibited or not allowed.
The senate rejected the compromise deal offer while Neri through his lawyer agreed. Well, it could be that most senators have thought of not pulling the strings on the idea that their authority and investigative powers might be limited.
On the other hand, others say, the senate had let loose the ball on their hands since if they accepted the compromise deal they could now open the gate for Neri to answer other questions relevant to the issues of truth every Filipino people wanted to know.
The point is, there could only be major keys to open the gate of truth and one is for Neri to testify and reveal what he knew of this deal. Second, the president should allow and order all those involved in the scandal, and the alleged kidnapping of Lozada to appear before any appropriate investigative body.
Third, all possible key witnesses should be given utmost recognition and courtesy and should be provided security. If they could be given immunity, the better. And finally the president should voluntarily present herself to the Filipino people and answer the allegations hurled against her and her administration. If she cannot, she better take a leave and if she fails again, then it’s time to do the supreme sacrifice. She should step down!

And now, for some blind items. True or not, it is up to you: Some top government officials Baguio are so apprehensive. They were caught by surprise of the courtesy call at their office by a non-government organization who project themselves as anti-graft and corruption crusader but simply are back dagger throwers.

Some local media practitioners had a smart idea in justifying their face to face meeting with a top intelligence protection coordinator of an illegal numbers game. They have become instant building contractors, suppliers and even architects to camouflage their illegal activities.
***
The bungled car plan of Baguio executives could be the local version of the controversial ZTE deal. Funny that the whistleblowers are the proponents themselves that one of their colleagues was made to sacrifice while the masterminds washed their hands before the public.

The “bingo sa barangay” would not be allowed to operate unless there would be an approved arrangement of profit-sharing with crocodiles in waiting.

Jueteng could has gone 5 star up as their top honchos choose a 5 star hotel in meeting top government official counterparts to discuss the payola arrangement.
***
Some business establishments in the city of Baguio are brave enough in operating without any business permit because they are being protected by some government officials at city hall.

All security agencies based in Baguio are recruiting security personnel but they require applicants to submit training certificates and clearances, They also are made to undergo physical and psychiatric examinations.
