Prides of San Nicolas
SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte – Charter Change is still the controversy and it would be a great blunder if this would be utilized for personal motives and political maneuvering to extend terms of those whose mandate is beyond the imagination of the constituents.
The nation is tired of problems afflicting the country. We need a leader like Moses and the guts of Joshua to lead us from moral perdition. The people can always seek the guidance of God to keep the Constitution unmolested by those whose greed and voraciousness they are trying to hide in the guise of legality. Actually their advocacy for change is only a manifestation of poor administration and pseudo-nationalism to make the nation great again as they claim.

We must condemn political killings and encourage witnesses to come forward to stop extrajudicial executions. While many ordinary criminals are languishing in jail because they cannot afford the services of lawyers, the powerful and influential evade punishment because of connections and blind supporters who justify their purported innocence by all means.
The leaders of our time should be models of integrity. Political killings can decrease the percentage of foreign nationals arriving because of disorderly and troublesome situation of the country.

Beware also of those aspiring candidates who come and made their names prominent in print and broadcast media to precondition the minds of the masses that they are available for public service in the 2010 elections. These opportunists are trying to hypnotize the electorate to becoming forgetful of how they served the country the past years.
