MPSPC president must resign

BONTOC, Mountain Province -- Resign! This had been the clamor of Mountain Province State Polytechnique College students, their families, relatives and friends addressed to MPSPC president Dr. Nieves Dacyon.
In the court of public opinion, they unanimously voted, to sentence you to be executed at the gallows. Even local politicians, province wide, enacted resolutions asking for your head to roll, to ultimately end the controversy at MPSPC.
Incidentally, time seems to be on your side. Time apparently favors you or maybe you are just lucky, but then, the controversy you created will not just go away as sooner, it could be decided by Malacanang.
Nonetheless, you still have two choices, madam president, either you exit gracefully with your head held up high, or you exit disgracefully with the stigma of shame and that of your family.
With your irrevocable resignation, you can pack your things and go home, to plant the biggest camote and voila, everybody would be happy.
With this, MPSPC can normalize its operation, and the pathetic students who suffered the brunt of the controversy you created, that messed up their chance, to graduate this year, will be ecstatic because finally a green light is there, to signify the resumption of their disrupted classes.
The physical and mental fatigue that saps the energy will end. Even your family, relatives and friends, madam president, will start to relax. Are you happy seeing your children grow up as butt of jokes, emanating from your stubbornness to cling to your position like a leech sucking for more blood?
Even your former benefactor Rep. Josephine Dominguez had said, “Napintas ta nagresign ta kaasi met dagitiestudyantengamaisakripisyo,” made me think twice.
Madam President, I don’t know you from Adam. My better half, your relative, supplied me the data that you came from a decent, respected and God-fearing family in Kayan, Tadian, Mt. Province.
With your upright rearing, I strongly believe that you’re a woman of good character. Just like the rest of us, you have care and concern for the welfare and well-being of the students of MPSPC.
I am confident, that you’ll do a heroic act to end this controversy and allow the students to pursue their education.
Madam President, I tipped my hat, when I learned that you tendered your resignation last July l, 2011, for by doing so, you educated the Filipino nation , that in Mt. Province, we value our dignity and honor just like the Japanese, who commit seppuko or harakiri when their honor or dignity is breached.
I know that I’m not qualified to convey you an advice, because, it’s a fact, that even my own self, I couldn’t teach. However, this is a suggestion if you allow me, to end this controversy whereby every stakeholder is happy.
Here under madam, are my suggestions: talk to the authorities of CHED, to transfer you to another school or promote you to a higher position as a reward for stepping down and seek assistance/support from Rep. MaximoDalog to espouse your cause in case the going gets rough.
You may go straight to the rallying students and reconcile with them apologizing for disruption of their dreams. Talk to them in a maternal way and they’ll understand. If you do these, madam, you’ll be remembered in their hearts.
