Couple killed in front of daughter

BANI, Pangasinan - A former militiaman was arrested for killing a couple in front of their daughter in Bani, Pangasinan Tuesday.

Police identified the suspect as Larry Cabalbag, a former member of the Citizens Volunteer Organization, based in the town.

Cabalbag was arrested after the gruesome killing of Buenaventura Oliveros, 52, and his wife, Zenaida.

Police said the couple was shot repeatedly in front of their 12-year-old daughters inside their home in Barangay Arwas.

The victims were watching television with their daughter when Cabalbag and another suspect identified as Rafael Aquino, barged into their home.

The victims died from several gunshot wound in different parts of their bodies.
