Scores arrested in Baguio crime drive

BAGUIO CITY A-- The last six days proved to be an action-packed period for operatives police of this summer resort.     

In the afternoon of July 8, PO1 Danny O. Bomogao with the help of security guard Jay Alan Rubino subdued one Ceasar Cayno Boaging,31, of Mankayan, Benguet who went berserk after being accosted for robbing a victim.

On the same day, policemen on order of a city prosecutor detained a drunken security guard in possession of a firearm but who failed to show any permit to carry.
           
During the night of July 8, Deliocando Tuscano,34, of Bolinao Pangasinan was arrested for possession of an unlicensed revolver and failure to pay his bills at a massage parlor in the city.

On July 9, a merchandise store at Camdas Subdivision was ransacked of P326,206 by suspects skilled in digging tunnels to gain entry.

Police are now locating the suspects.

Morning of July 9, operatives arrested two suspects for theft and illegal possession of firearm identified as Renato Ramos,27 and his brother Rommel Ramos, 24 ,with city address at Palma Urbano here.

The availability of a CCTV of the barangay helped police and victim unmask the identity of the culprits.
           
Another theft case happened in the early evening of July 9, and policemen were able to arrest the suspect identified as Jeffrey Duag Velasco, 23, a native of Cauayan, Isabela.

From July 1-15, some 2,006 traffic violations were committed and a total of P 247,800 pesos was collected by the city treasurer’s office from fines paid for traffic violations.
           
Again, on July 10, four were arrested for frustrated homicide committed in front of a bar along Jacinto Street.

Now facing charges were Bobby Dangiwan Domao-il, 22; Rey Agmoyao Macabeo, 30; Frederick Rakenchay Arawig, 18; and Gary Chakiten Modcharang, 24 , all natives of Sadanga, Mountain Province.
           
At 11:00 p.m. on the same day, two suspects were arrested after they hit and tried to rob a 23-year-old student.

The suspects were identified as Najib Ampuan y Lachica,19 of Dagupan city and Deanny Dogcio y Catre,22 of La Trinidad,Benguet.

In the afternoon of July 12, one suspect for theft  was arrested after a brief chase along General Luna Road.

The arrested theft suspect was identified as Allan Lacbao y Almazan, jobless from La Trinidad, Benguet.
           
Later, another suspect identified as Butz Dayawon Dinulong,27,of Mangali,Tanudan, Kalinga was arrested after having allegedly snatched the cell phone and wallet of a female victim walking in Campo Sioco, Baguio City.
           
On July 12, two theft suspects were caught in the act of snatching along Lower Session Road.

They were identified as Johar Mauranka Tunday, 18, of Imelda Village; and Rachiel Olas Manawa, of Kabayan,Benguet.

Later that day, police investigators had to determine who could be behind the theft of all the tires of two vehicles parked at a private road here.

On July 14, four theft suspects were arrested by policemen after a female victim shouted for help at the O-shape overpass in the city.

The arrested suspects were identified as Reynaldo M. Cauinian, 31, of Buguias, Benguet; Alejandro U. Pararuan, 22, of Tayug,Pangasinan; June B. Gasigas, 28  of Cervantes, Ilocos Sur; and Oliver B.Abes, 26, of Sabangan, Mountain Province.

Baguio now is a multi-culti haven of crimes because of being so over-populated which begets poverty. For all those blahblah of the government no jobs available for the learned and unlearned citizens of this Kamote republik aside from over-pollution to over-basura. The Philippine system is just but STINK. Hay Very sad. Baguio City; Quo vadis?
