BAGUIO CITY – The top cop for the Baguio City Police Office should
be coming soon, Mayor Mauricio Domogan said in a media forum, as five nominees
have been listed.
The committee headed by the mayor is presently evaluating the
documents of Police Senior Superintendents Joseph Cagayan Adnol, Virgilio Laya,
Jesus Cambay, Angelito Casimiro and Marlon Valdez Madrid.
Domogan said all have impeccable qualifications and
service records, thus more time is needed to choose the replacement for then
Baguio City Police Office head David QuitorianoLacdan.
Lacdan is on school, and due for promotion, the mayor said.
Domogan earlier said the chosen police head should be the best for
the city.
He should be in by this month of August, he added.
The Philippine National Police Selection Board in Camp Crame has
screened the nominees and trimmed them into five.
This is with affirmation from the Police Regional Office
Cordillera headed by Chief Supt. Benjamin Magalong.
