Kalinga LTO cited as one of top performing agencies

CITY, Kalinga-- The Land Transpiration Office-
Kalinga landed as one of the top
10 performing agencies in the region based on the Civil Service Commission’s 1st Semester Report Card Survey (RCS) for
2012.
LTO-Kalinga
chief Jenelyn Angogr eceived an award from CSC Kalinga Director Ruben Wacas
during the CSC Month launching at the provincial capitol last week.
Based
on the RCS scoring system, LTO-Kalinga was ranked at No. 8 with 85.33 percent final grade or a descriptive
rating of “good” during the survey.
In
a letter, CSC-CAR Director Fernando Porio
congratulated the agency for passing the RCS conducted by the CSC last
May.
“This
means that LTO-Tabuk City has complied with the Anti RedTape Act requirements
such as posting of Citizen’s Charter, frontline service provider, service
quality, physical working condition, and client satisfaction,” Porio stated.
According
to Angog, their performance could be credited to the innovations introduced in
their office to facilitate the provision of office services especially in the
processing of documents.
Efficient
service she said encourage motorists and operators to process their vehicle
documents thus generating office revenue.
Based
on records, LTO Kalingato raised their collection by 1.3 percent or a total
revenue of P8.2 million in 2010 to P9.4 million in 2011.
The
RCS is being conducted in compliance to Republic Act 9485 or
“An act to improve efficiency in the delivery of government services to
the public by reducing bureaucratic red tape, preventing graft and corruption,
providing penalties thereof.”
