Boy, 11, kills six-year-old playmate, in gun accident

URBIZTONDO, Pangasinan – An 11-year-old boy was placed under the custody of the municipal social welfare and development here after he accidentally shot dead his six-year-old playmate on Monday.

               

Chief Insp. Domingo Eden, acting municipal police chief, said the “suspect” was a Grade 6 student while the victim was a Grade 1 pupil.

               

While the two were playing in the elder boy’s home, the latter got hold of a handgun and accidentally pulled the trigger, hitting the six-year-old in the face.
