3 killed in Isabela as motorcycle rams truck

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya – Three construction workers were killed after their motorcycle slammed into a truck parked along the national highway in Isabela province March 1.

The fatalities were identified as Erwin Acoba, Pedro Salvador and Ernesto Vargas, all of Barangay Paliueg in Ilagan City. They died on the spot from massive injuries.

Reports said the victims, workers of a construction firm in Cauayan City, were on their way to buy food when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a truck parked along the national highway in Barangay Minante. – Charlie Lagasca
