Hotel food downs Laguna execs on tour

VIGAN CITY -- Over 50 village
officials of Pila, Laguna on a “Lakbay Aral” in the north were rushed to the
Gabriela Silang General Hospital here after showing symptoms of food poisoning
March 9.
Baltazar Artecona, chairman of
Barangay Narico, Pila town, said members of their group experienced severe
stomach pain, vomiting and loose bowel movement while they were on their way to
Ilocos Sur.
According to the victims, they
last took food during breakfast at an Ilocos Norte hotel before they left for
Ilocos Sur.
