Rolling stone kills bocap, hurts 3 others

ATOK, Benguet -- A village councilman died while three watchmen were injured when they were hit by a rock that rolled down a mountain here Thursday.

Sandy Bay-an Etiw was declared dead on arrival at a hospital while his companions Ramon Colting, Sotero Binay-an and Joel Pablo were treated in separate hospitals.

The victims were conducting a clearing operation along a highway in Barangay Paoay when the rock rolled down and hit them. 

Rescuers said victims were residents of the town.
