BAGUIO CITY – Barangay fiestas and religious
celebrations top this city’s summer vacation (SumVac) schedule as coordinated
by the city administrator’s office and tourism division.
On April 12 and April 19, spiritual plays “No
greater love,” at the United Church of Christ of the Philippines with “Judgment
morning drama” at Baguio Convention Center April 29.
Zumba enthusiasts are invited to Zumba Strides, 6 to
10 a.m. at Melvin Jones, Burnham Par.
Arnis tournament is set at Baguio Convention Center
April 18 and 19.
In April, Asin road, Atok Trail, Brookspoint, City
Camp central, City Camp Proper, Cresencia Village, Dizon Subd., Dominican
Mirador, East Quirino Hill, Happy Homes Old Lucban, Irisan, Kayang Ext.,
Lucnab, Pinget, Pinsao Pilot, San Luis Village, South Sanitary Camp, Sto.
Rosario Valley, Upper Rock Quarry, West Bayan Park, West Quirino Hill celebrate
their barangay fiestas on different dates.
AZCKO, Balsigan, Cabinet Hill-Teachers Camp, Camdas,
Camp Allen, Country Club Village, Dontogan, DPS compound, East Modernsite,
Engineers hill, Fairview, Gabriela Silang, GEFA-Lower QM, Gibraltar, Kayang
Hilltop, Kias, Lower Dagsian, Lower General Luna, Marcoville, Mines View Park,
MRR-Queen of Peace, New Lucban, North Sanitary Camp, Outlook Drive, Pacdal,
Fil-Am, Saint Joseph Village, Upper QM and Upper Quezon Hill celebrate their
barangay fiestas in May.
On May 1, the Public Employment Services Office
conducts job fair at the Baguio Convention Center where local and foreign
employers would hire qualified jobseekers.
Baguio hosts
the Philippine Councilors League on May 6 and 7 at the Baguio Convention
Center; with the Sabsabongti Mayo on May 11 to 17 at the same venue.
The Mariapolis Ecumenical Summer Camp: Living the
Gospel will be held at Teachers Camp on May 8-10 while “Youth Summer Camp: True
love waits” is set at Barangay Kias.
The Baguio Convention Center is also venue for
martial arts festival on May 23-24; Pastors’ kids care on May 26, mixed martial
arts full contact May 29 and “Light of the world” on May
31.
