Stude drags, rapes student in Apayao

LUNA, Apayao— A 16-year-old Grade 11 student here was allegedly raped by another student at the latter’s house last week.   

The victim’s mother complained to police identifying the suspect as Mark Joseph Orbosis Santos, 19, single, Grade 10 student and resident here of Sta. Lina.

Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, Santos sent a text message to the victim using a cell phone number telling her to unblock his saved number.

The suspect called the victim and threatened her that if she will not go to the house of the suspect he will show her nude pictures to her mother prompting the victim to proceed to the house of the suspect.

Accordingly, when the victim was at the house, she was forcibly brought by the suspect to his room where the latter showed his pictures holding an alleged sachet of shabu and pornographic pictures.

Santos then forcibly removed the clothes of the victim, but the latter despite her protests.

The suspect forcibly grabbed and pulled the victim’s hair causing her to lose her balance making her lie on the floor. The victim told Santos, “Ipulong ka ken mommy (I will report what you did to my mother),” but the suspect retorted, “Ania ipangpangas mo ti mommy mo nga kagawad (You want to show your mother is somebody?)”

The suspect went on top of the victim, pulled her legs apart and tried to insert his penis into her vagina but the victim resisted.

Santos pulled the victim’s hair, grasped her hands, and reportedly raped her. After which, the victim immediately wore her clothes and ran out from the house of the suspect towards the street.

 The victim was able to call her friend Jowie Du through cellular phone to quote “Umay nak kitan tan a rape nak (Come see me because I was raped).”

The suspect followed the victim on the street and saw her calling someone. The suspect got and turned off the cell phone and pulled the victim back to the house and raped her again.

After Ramos allegedly satisfied his lust, the victim left the suspect and called her friend Du. 

The suspect was arrested by responding personnel of Luna police.
