New PNP officers named for Region 1 key positions

CAMP FLORENDO, San Fernando City La Union -- Region 1 police director Gen. Joel Orduña announced Tuesday the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 1 has a new commander after Col. Nathaniel Villegas took the helm during turn-over ceremony Monday here. 

Villegal, a member of PNPA Class 1997“Kapanalig” and the former Chief, Aviation Security Unit 12 replaced  Col. Jovencio S Badua, Jr., who relinquished his leadership after rendering service of more than a year in the mobile force from May 19, 2018 to June 3, 2019.

Meanwhile, his predecessor, Badua, a member of the PNPA Class 1994 “Makatarungan”, assumed new post as chief of Regional Plans and Strategy Management Division.

A Medalya ng Kasanayan was also conferred to Badua in recognition of his exemplary service and duty rendered as Force Commander of the RFMBI.
