2 druggies nabbed; P300-K shabu seized in Nueva Ecija

QUEZON, Nueva Ecija – Anti-drug agents arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized P300,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Doña Lucia here Monday night.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency -Central Luzon Director Christian Frivaldo identified the suspects as John Cevin Fernandez, 29 and Laila Almerol, 40, both of Licab town, this province.

In his report to PDEA Director General Wilkins Villanueva, Frivaldo said the operation against the suspects was hatched upon confirming intelligence information on the suspects' activity.

The suspects yielded 50 grams of shabu, a motorcycle, and mobile phone, the PDEA official reported.
