Trinidad cops hold outreach program , observe Ramadan

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Town police conducted a school outreach program recently and joined th4e Muslim community in observance of the holy month of Ramadan.
Police implemented community affairs and development master plan Tagataguyod, to intensify community support programs and promote positive public trust and perception of the organization towards a safer and more secure community through effective crime prevention and crime solution activities.
Under the program, police made an outreach mission at Talinguroy Elementary School, one of the farthest schools in the municipality located at Barangay Wangal.
The school is currently conducting face-to-face learning mode with limited number of students in a day.
Inspired by perseverance and dedication of the students to learn and acquire education, police conducted the outreach program on April 2 wherein town police led by Lt. Letecia B. Marinas and PEMS Romy V Soriano donated gallon of paints (16L), paintbrush and rollers that was utilized in repainting one school building. Moreover, personnel along with Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) and Kings College of the Philippines (KCP) Criminology interns conducted general cleaning and beautification of school surroundings.
Meanwhile, in relation to the worldwide celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan, La Trinidad police visited Muslim students at their Madrasah located here at Parapad, Ambiong.
During the visit, police conducted lectures on anti-criminality and anti-insurgency campaign among Muslim students.
Cops also reiterated strict observance of health protocols and guidelines in celebrating the Holy Month.
As part of the outreach program of LTMPS, personnel gave assorted groceries and hygiene kits to Muslim students.
