Noy inaugurates P700-M Isabela bridge

ILAGAN CITY --  President Aquino inaugurated here Friday a P772-million bridge, which now connects four agricultural municipalities to this city. Ilagan City Mayor Josemarie Diaz said the new bridge is larger than the Ninoy Aquino Bridge,which the President inaugurated last year in Tuao, Cagayan.

Diaz said the new Lullutan Bridge, named after a village in the city, is 500 meters long and made of steel. 

The bridge will connect the city to several rice-producing municipalities, including Mallig, Quirino, Delfin Albano and Gamu. 

Officials said the bridge would boost economic activities not only in nearby areas but in Cagayan Valley.. – RaymundCatindig
