Bontoc song fest winners given cheques

BONTOC, Mountain Province – Winners of the municipal song fest of this capital town received checks from the municipal government last week.
    The Mountain Province General Comprehensive High School represented by Queeny Eyen Sacliwan, Jasmine Kyle Poloc, Troyvic Lingbanan, and Rafael Fokleg III, emerged champion for the quartet category and received ₱10,000.
    Meanwhile, consolation prize of ₱6,000 was awarded to Karylle Megan Layagan, Miller Depnag II, Julienne Nicolle Baguilod, and Reyma Raquel Domaoa, from All Saint's Mission Inc.
    Alexa Hannah Kanongkong and Liam Justine Codod, both from All Saint's Mission Inc. bagged first place for duet category and received ₱5,000.
        A consolation prize of ₱3,000 was also received by Jarrel John Casionan and Synteche Caasi of Bontoc Central School.
The winners of the two categories represented the municipality of Bontoc during the provincial song fest conducted by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office last month.
