Bontoc LGU, DepEd forge partnership

BONTOC, Mountain Province – The local government represented by Mayor Jerome “Chagsen” Tudlong, Jr., inked a memorandum of agreement with the Dept. of Education Ed – Schools Division Mountain Province represented by Superintendent Sally Ullalim Jan. 9 here at the mayor’s office on providing quality, equitable, culture-based, and complete basic education.

The MOA stipulated commitment of both parties in undertaking collaborative educational programs.

The Bontoc LGU also signed deed of donation of the municipal lot located in Suyo, Can-eo, Bontoc where Can-eo Elementary School is located.

The lot was previously donated by the Charupang couple, Miguel Cawed,  Herman Piayas, and  Margarita Lumiwes to the Bontoc LGU.

MOA signing was witnessed by senior education program specialist School Mobilization Networking Section of DepEd-Mountain Province, Sonia Batnag and Venus Lingbawan, staff of Office of the Municipal Mayor.
