4robbery suspects killed in Bulacan noon shootout

BY MAR SUPNAD BUSTOS, Bulacan – Four suspected robbers, believed responsible for a series of robberies in Central Luzon were killed last afternoon of Sept. 29 when they reportedly shot it out with policemen of Bulacan under Senior Supt. Asher Dolina, Traffic Management Group, and the Regional Intelligence Division under Senior Supt. Pierre Bucsit in Poblacion, Bustos, Bulacan.

Chief Supt. Errol T. Pan, Central Luzon police director, said the four suspects wereidentified as Joel Casero y Quintos, 18, of 474 Rivero Compound, Tugatog, Meycauayan, Bulacan; Felicisimo P. Sarsosa, 21, alias “Boy Blondie,” of 21 Pag-asa St., Barnagay Banga, Meycayayan City and Michael R. Meneses, 23, Barangay Bantayan of Meycauayan City.

Their relatives had claimed the cadavers from St. Mathew Funeral Homes. General Pan said that found at the encounter site were short firearms, a blue Adventure vehicle that was believed to have been carnapped, and personal belongings.

Pan said the encounter was a result of a month-long surveillance of lawless elements in the region, particularly members in of robbery-holdup gangs. After assuming the highest police post in Region 3, Pan directed his men to press their drive against all forms of crimes and lawlessness.
