123 wanted persons nabbed in C. Luzon

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- A total of 128 wanted persons were arrested January to March in Central Luzon, police said.
This, was in compliance with the directive of the Philippine National Police hierarchy to intensify campaign against wanted persons.
Sr. Supt. Marvin Bolabola, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Region 3 chief, said this was the result of their 90 days police operations with a batting average of two arrests per day.
Bolabola said of those arrested, four were listed as top most wanted persons, one in the provincial level and four others in the municipal level while 23 of them were facing serious charges and are non bailable.
In his report, Bolabola said 27 are also facing murder and homicide cases, 15 for robbbery and thievery, two for carnapping and another 17 for child abuse.
He said nine suspects are facing dangerous drugs cases under RA 9165 and 35 other common crimes including estafa and violation of BP 22.
The campaign against the neutralization of wanted persons is the flagship program of Police Regional Office 3 under Chief Supt. Nilo dela Cruz and CIDG/
Meanwhile, dela Cruz further directed the CIDG Region 3 to focus on the accused in political, media other foreign national killings which are under Regional Task Force “Usig” so justice could be served.
