Five rob suspects nabbed by CIDG in Gapo, Nueva Ecija

The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group arrested Thursday five suspected robbers in different places under its “Oplan Pagtugis” program to neutralize wanted persons in the region.
Senior Supt. Marvin Bolabola, CIDG regional chief, said first to fall was Romeo Balagasay, 50 of San Lorenzo, barangay Sto. Tomas, Subic, Zambales who was accused of robbery with homicide, a non-bailable serious crime.
Balagasay’s arrest was issued by Judge Raymund Viray of the Regional Trial Court branch 75.
In a separate operation, Bolabola said Cris Bonifacio of Marilag, Sta. Rita, Olongapo City was also arrested based on the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Consuelo Bocar of RTC branch 73 for robbery with violence.
Bail bond of P100,000 was recommended for Bonifacio.
The two suspects were nabbed by the CIDG here headed Chief Insp. Ponce Rogelio Penones, said Bolabola.
Bolabola lauded Penones and his men for the series of apprehensions, including most wanted persons in their area.
In Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija, Bolabola also reported the arrest of Henry Tumangan and Francis Santiago, both of barangay Concepcion East.
Tumangan’s and Santiago’s arrest was issued by Judge Tomas Talavera of RTC branch 28, Cabanatuan City for robbery.
A P24,000 bail bond was recommended each for their temporary liberty.
In Cabulihan, Natividad, Nueva Ecija, Bolabola said Eduardo Villena was collared by his men for qualified theft.P30,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.
