BAGUIO CITY -- Mayor Reinaldo Bautista, Jr. issued last week Administrative Order 155-A, series of 2009, repealing an earlier order implementing an “odd-even traffic scheme” for Public Utility Vehicles in Baguio.
This, after main arteries going to the city – Kennon and Naguilian road including Palispis-Aspiras Highway – opened for vehicular traffic.
AO 155-2009 was issued Oct. 13 to ensure availability of fuel for rescue and relief efforts due to the wanton destruction wrought by Typhoon Pepeng.
“The reason for the earlier order has ceased due to the tireless effort of both our volunteer groups and concerned government agencies,” Bautista said.
Meanwhile, classes on levels resumed Oct. 15, as earlier announced. – Isagani S.
