BONTOC, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE- Provincial gubernatorial candidate Ezra Alipit Gomez is gaining strong support for his commitment on modern programs to save money, create jobs and business opportunities.

Goez said he is aware like many others of the report by the National Statistics Coordination Board(NSCB) that Mt. Province is among the poorest province in the nation and he firmly believes that practical programs based on cooperation are as important as infrastructure development to improve the quality of life for the majority.

The candidate said he is vying to rally and lead Montanosa to a new era of opportunity, self-reliance, and responsibility. His platform highlights the "Health is Wealth" initiative, a preventative and reactive measure (i.e. exercise, proper nutrition and supplementation, smoking and alcohol education/cessation program, first aid response, updated medical care and equipment, sanitation, potable water), youth education and volunteer program, public civility and safety, and province-wide tourism.

His personal and public service record reflects his passion for these programs which supports the people's priority.

He believes that modern programs foster better quality living but warns that it will not materialize unless individuals participate to attain it and sustain it.

As a Board Member, he is able to tackle problems and offer solutions beyond his position's capacity because of his desire to help people but sometimes falls short on some commitments due to his position's limitations.

This experience, he added, strengthened his resolve and encouraged him to seek higher office.

If elected Governor, he intends to deliver better solutions to issues concerning the majority.

"I humbly ask you to contact your family, friends and relatives to relay this message and vote for me on May 10, 2010. I would also like to thank all donors supporting/contributing to our campaign to advance the priorities of the majority”, Ezra said.

Debbie Gomez-Alday added, "vote wisely; it truly matters to consider a candidate's platform details, public service record, advisers, and network to have a higher probability for his/her platform to be enacted and delivered in order to move forward".
