Worker electrocuted in Baguio construction site

BAGUIO CITY -- A worker was electrocuted to death while working here at a construction site here at Barangay Asin on July 30.

Miguel Bernal, 49 was working at Celestial Village at around 4 p.m. when the accident happened.

His co-workers said they were not sure what happened because they did not witness the accident.

They said they immediately went to report the matter to the nearest police station in the area and ask for assistance but when they returned, the victim was rushed to Baguio General Hospital by a concerned citizens who were also at the sight that time.

The victim was declared dead upon arrival at the Baguio General hospital.

The witness could not explain how the victim was electrocuted. The hospital will conduct an autopsy to determine cause of death. – Dennis R. Khan
