2 teenagers die in Cagayan rumble

CLAVERIA, Cagayan -- Two persons died in a rumble involving two groups of teenagers here during the coronation event of the town fiesta.

Police identified the fatalities as Michael Abinsa, 22, a former resident of Barangay Pinas, Claveria town and Jerieson Alnas, 19, a former resident of Barangay Mapulapula, also of Claveria.

It was gathered that the two groups of teenagers were having a heated altercation that resulted to a rumble and stabbing incidents.

Police are probing the incident to identify perpetrators in the stabbing of the two victims.
