2 fires hit P’sinan school in two days

URBIZTONDO, Pangasinan – Fire struck a public elementary school here twice in two days, razing classrooms built during the Marcos era.
Chief Insp. Bernardine Barbiran, municipal police chief, said the first fire hit the Urbiztondo Central School in the town proper on Tuesday, gutting two Grade 4 classrooms and a Grade 5 classroom.
Another fire struck the same school the following day, razing three more Grade 4 classrooms.
This town has no firefighting unit of its own and is only covered by the Bureau of Fire Protection office in San Carlos City.
