CSC confers eligibility to honor grads even without career exam

BAGUIO CITY -- Did you know that the Civil Service Commission also grants special eligibilities other than the Career Service Professional and Sub-Professional eligibilities?

One can acquire a civil service eligibility even without taking the Career Service Examination.
The CSC for some time now had been granting eight different eligibilities under special laws to qualified individuals.

One is the Honor Graduate Eligibility granted under Presidential Decree No. 907 which is appropriate for first and second level positions in government not covered by the bar, board or other special laws.

Since May this year, the Cordillera CSC conferred PD 907 special eligibility to 70 honor graduates from the Divine Word College of Bangued (7), Abra, Benguet State University (58), La Trinidad, Benguet, and Data Center (5), Bangued, Abra.

The following were recipients of PD 907 special eligibility: 1) Divine Word College of Bangued: Kristine Dianne F. Cabonce, Jeena May M. Cortel, Tricia B. Belandres, Kaiza Joy A. Dalit, Crisgee Flor P. Acena, Angelica O. Azarcon, and Lovely Kris C. Uy (all Cum Laude) ; 2) Data Center: Ruby B. Sambo (Magna Cum Laude) and R-Jay B. Baccani, Elizabeth B. Brioso, Ma. Christina P. Guarin, Gilbert Dan B. Villastique (all Cum Laude); and 3) Benguet State University: Magna Cum Laude (Junelia B. Calpasi, Allan V. Lais, and Emilyn C. Casiangen); Cum Laude (Caroline D. Daus, Jeannie Mae P. Sacia, Marie Cria L. Gantas, Randolfh C. Empredo, Aljan T. Mendoza, Roxanne K. Balangcod, Rshied B. Lokines, Charity P. Dulnuan, Shertesa M. Benito, Jeniza A. Kinomas, Veronica M. Bito, Mark Aljon E. Valenciano, Mark Erick E. Menzi, Arlene H. Abance).

At the Benguet State University were Heber K. Layag, Ruth B. Wakit, Dave Jan P. Gavino, Liezi F. Arizo, Janice C. Dep-as, Joyce B. Payaket, Ria E. Abance, Sybel T. Ngaseo, Wendy Lyn T.
