Two women arrested for shabu in buy bust

BAGUIO CITY – Two women were nabbed in a buy-bust operation here July 4 around 6:30 p.m. and jailed for illegal drugs.

A police report identified the suspects as Cherry B. Cardeonio, 39, housewife of San Vicente, Tarlac city and Bennette S. Parras, 31, of La Trinidad, Benguet.

Both were residents of Hamada Subdivision here at the time of their arrest.

The report said both were nabbed at Lourdes Extension, Hamada Subdivision.

Confiscated from the suspects was a sachet containing 0.08 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride also known as shabu valued at P944.00.

The confiscated evidence was turned over to police crime lab at Camp Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet for chemical analysis.

A case for illegal drugs is being prepared by police against the suspects.
