Police arrest man in P15M Abatan heist

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet -- Police have arrested a man wanted for several offenses, including the P15-million robbery in Abatan, Buguias, Benguet years back, murder and other sensational crimes in his hideout in Aglipay town, Quirino province last week, police reported.

Senior Supt.Engelbert Soriano, spokesperson of the regional police office in Cordillera based here at Camp Dangwa, identified the suspect as Randy Domingo.

Soriano said Domingo was wanted for capital offenses including murder, robbery with homicide, robbery in band and frustrated murder.

A P300,000 bounty has been set by the Department of Interior and Local Government for his arrest.

He said the suspect was arrested in his hideout in Barangay Alicia on August 7.
He said that suspect is now detained at the Quirino provincial police office pending his turnover to Benguet police authorities.

Cordillera regional police who coordinated the arrest included Supt. CeasarPasiwen and SPO2 Alberto Fullion.

Others who participated in the arrest were personnel of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Cabarroguis and Aglipay town cops under supervision of provincial director Senior Supt. Delfin Salvador Millo.
