Cops arrest suspect In Abra rape case

DOLORES, Abra – A farmer was arrested here April 4 for rape.

The suspect was identified as Amado Q. Pimentel, 56, resident of Barangay Bulbulala, La Paz town in the province.

Arresting officers who came from the Lagangilang and La Paz town police stations served a warrant of arrest issued by Corpuz B. Alzate, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court, Branch 01, Bangued, Abra for rape with no bail recommended.

The arrest was made here in SitioDucam, Barangay Mudiit.

Pimentel was jailed at the La Paz municipal police station.
