Taxi driver nabbed for shabu possession

BAGUIO CITY – A taxi driver was arrested here April 3 in a buy-bust operation along World Vision Alley, Block 3, East Quirino Hill for illegal possession of shabu worth P3,600.

Nabbed was Ricky A. Kuito, 32, of Suyoc, Mankayan, Benguet and a resident of AE 128 Western Buyagan, La Trinidad, also in the province.

The suspect was also caught in possession of one Nokia cell phone and P1,00 buy-bust money.

Arresting officers were SPO3 Raymond B. Tacio under the supervision of Supt. Adonis B. Guzman in coordination with the regional Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Pieces of evidence recovered were turned-over to the PNP Crime Laboratory, Camp Dangwa, La Trinidad Benguet for examination.

The suspect was subjected to drug test and now under police custody.
