Local, overseas jobs posted for Ifugao fair

LAGAWE,
Ifugao -- The Department of Labor and Employment here posted in Public
Employment Service Offices in the province local and overseas jobs for a
jobs fair on June 20.
DOLE-
Ifugao field officer Alexander Gumabol said this year’s fair at the
Lagawe Multi-Purpose Gymnasium has more job orders with participation of
additional local employers and overseas recruitment agencies.
He
said they received initial list of available jobs for abroad from Singapore,
United States of America (USA), Malaysia, Hongkong, Cyprus, Oman, Qatar,
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Bahrain.
The jobs available for Singapore were
assistant nurses, nurses, doctors, advisor sales, retail executives, domestic
helpers, engineers, household service workers and drafters while for KSA and
Bahrain are car electricians, building carpenters, electricians, civil
engineers, heavy equipment mechanics, building painters, plumbers, laboratory
technicians, chemical engineers, family drivers, aircon technicians,
nurses/house nurses, care givers, X-ray technicians, car builders/painters and
cleaners.
Oman
also has job orders for English instructors, lecturers, technicians, lady
cooks, lady/male drivers and domestic helpers.
Qatar
needs civil engineers, electrical engineers, sales representatives, household
service workers and family drivers while the USA is looking for therapists,
Malaysia for nurses, Hongkong for domestic helpers and Cyprus for household
workers service.
The
local employers who furnished job orders for the fair were the Ifugao Global
Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Ifugao Electric Cooperative (IFELCO),
Mila’s Bakeshoppe, and Moreishi.
Applicants
were advised to bring resumes and other requirements to facilitate evaluation
and possible hiring on the spot.
According
to Gumabol, this annual job fair project of DOLE aimed to help workers in
Ifugao find employment both locally and abroad and help solve the problem of
