'No shoot-to-kill order against NBP escapee'

TUGUEGARAO CITY  – The police director of Isabela has denied that there is a shoot-to-kill order for New Bilibid Prison escapee Rommel Laciste who is believed to be hiding in his jurisdiction.

“There’s no such thing as a shoot-to-kill order. We are keen on capturing him alive although the police will not hesitate to annihilate him if he fights back,” Senior Superintendent Frank Mabanag said.

Mabanag believes that Laciste is no longer in his hometown in San Mariano since a tracker team of the police and Bureau of Corrections would concentrate their efforts there.
