2 most wanted persons nabbed in Ifugao towns

LAGAWE, Ifugao-- The Ifugao
provincial police office arrested the two top most wanted persons in the
municipal level for the
third quarter this year.
Ramil LadyongSaculles, provincial police
chief said combined personnel of the Ifugao Provincial Public Safety Company and
Ifugao Provincial Intelligence Branch led by Chief Insp. Allan B. Guyguyon and Insp. Ramon Espiritu Jr, respectively,
recently arrested DonatoBunewLagmay, 52, small scale gold ore mill
manager and native of Poblacion,
Hingyon in a gold ore milling site in
Balcony, Runruno, Nueva Vizcaya.
The accused has a standing warrant of arrest
for crime of rape. He is second most wanted person in Hingyon town.
On the other hand, a team of Kianganmunicipal
police station led by Insp. Christian C Salonga and Lamutpoliceled by SPO 3
Luciano Mangulad arrested Gabriel ManghiGuiniling, 42 , married, farmer and a
resident of Bolar, Duit in the town.
The accused was second most wanted person in
Kiangan town.
The arrest was made by virtue of warrant
arrest for rape with no bail recommended.
“The
relentless campaign of the Ifugao PPO for the arrest of wanted persons manifest
their strong commitment in the quest for justice for the victims and sending a strong signal to lawless elements
that they cannot escape the extensive hands of the law,” Saculles said, adding
that the Ifugao PNP is firm in its campaign against lawless elements in the
province aligned with the police’s ten point action plan.
